The Canon IXUS 110 IS is able to shoot widescreen, High Definition movies. The 2.8 inch LCD screen is also widescreen to help you frame your movies.

The IXUS 110 IS is a point and shoot camera. At around 22mm wide it should fit quite easily into most pockets. Looking at the design, one end of the camera has a more distinct curve than other cameras in the Canon range. The camera comes in four colours. These are: gold, silver, pink and blue.

More standard features include a 12 megapixel sensor and a wide angle, 4x optical zoom lens. Image stabilisation has been built into the lens to help reduce the impact of any camera shake caused by unsteady hands.

The camera has a number of settings to help you produce portrait shots. These include a face detection setting that adjusts the way the photo is lit and focused. There is also a blink warning available to help you miss out on ruined photos where someone had their eyes closed.
