The Fuji Finepix S1500 has 10 megapixels and a 12x optical zoom lens. As you would expect with a lens of this length Fuji has incorporated image stabilisation into the camera. In addition there are a range of manual exposure features to give you the ability to fine tune your photos. These include fully manual exposure, aperture priority and shutter priority. For close up work there is a super macro mode that can focus from 2cm away from the subject.
For composing images there is a 2.7 inch LCD screen and also an electronic viewfinder. Other features include a number of preset scene modes (Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Night (Tripod), Natural Light, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Museum, Party, Flower and Text). There is also a setting for shooting panoramic photos.
Power is supplied to the Finepix S1500 by four AA batteries. For recording images there is a small amount of built in memory. To increase the capacity for storing photos you can use either SD or SDHC memory cards. |
