The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a good quality, point and shoot digital camera. It is small enough to slip into a pocket. It has a stylish design and is available in black and silver.

There are a few features that stand out and lift this camera above the more basic pocket cameras. It has a very wide angle lens. This makes the camera a good choice if you take a lot of photos of wide scenes. These could include landscapes, interiors, groups of people and buildings.

Although the DMC FX35 has a 4x zoom lens because it has such a wide angle it does not have great telephoto capabilities. For that reason the extra zoom feature that Panasonic have built into the camera could prove to be very useful. To use extra zoom you need to reduce the number of megapixels you are shooting at. For example if you shoot at 2 megapixels then the maximum amount of zoom available is increased to 7.1x. This is a significant increase in zoom.

The DMC FX35 also has a movie mode capable of shooting movies for playback on a HD television.
