The Sony Cybershot DSC W180 is a mid priced, pocket digital camera. It has 10 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. It scores well for ease of use and in terms of features the Cybershot DSC W180 is a relatively straightforward, point and shoot camera.
You have a choice between black, silver and red versions. The Cybershot DSC W180 weighs 140g fully loaded and 118g without the battery or memory card. Combined with dimensions of 93.4 x 54.5 x 18.7mm you should have little trouble slipping the camera into more or less any pocket.
When it comes to features Sony has incorporated a good sized, 2.7 inch LCD screen for composing pictures and accessing the menu system. You also have access to face detection, plus a smile shutter that automatically takes a picture if it detects someone is smiling. For portraits taken with flash there is a red eye correction utility.
Power comes from a lithium ion battery. Sony suggests you should be able to take up to 290 shots in between charges. There are 12mb of memory built into the Cybershot DSC W180. This is only likely to be enough for a few test shots. |
