The Sony DSC W300 is a stylish digital camera. It has 13.5 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. The body of the camera is coated in titanium. If you turn the camera round you will see a 2.7 inch LCD and an optical viewfinder.

Other key features include image stabilisation and face detection for clearer portrait shots. The DSC W300 can also be set up to capture portrait shots automatically if it detects someone is smiling. No intervention is needed from you for the shot to be taken.

There is also a dynamic range optimiser. This helps to increase the amount of detail showing in lighter or darker areas of a photo and can come in handy where there are high levels of contrast in a photo.
